 Gilwern
Dates- Wednesday 8th - Friday 10th February

It is a wonderful opportunity for the children to participate in. It is usually the highlight of their memories of school. It is also an excellent way to ensure coverage of ‘outdoor and adventurous activities’ in the National Curriculum.

We have been tested which material would be the best insulator of heat if you feel in cold water. They wanted to test chocolate spread. Probably because they wanted to eat it afterwards!

                                        NCPCC Number Day
We made board games, IT games and multi skills games,  which have been good fun to play.

We are not just having a great time. We are learning about friction.

What better way is there to learn about air resistance than making a parachute!

We enjoyed our project on Industrial Wales. The highlight for most of the children was the visit to Big Pit.
