Bluebell Class - Nursery - Mrs Hall

Croeso i Dosbarth Bluebell

Hello from Bluebell Nursery

Tymor y Hydref/ Autumn 18!

Welcome back to existing parents and a warm welcome to new parents!

This term, our main topic is ‘All About Me’ as well as mini topics such as 'Autumn', 'Harvest' and of course 'Christmas'! (We will keep you up-to-date with possible costume requirements, lines, dates and times for the Christmas concert in due course.)

A big ‘Thank You’ to all those parents that currently donate £1 per week!

This is a great help and without your donations we would not be able to buy fruit for the children at snack time, ingredients for cooking days and any other extras for the children!  We will continue to put the money box on the table at the Nursery door as well as a sheet for you to tick off your child’s name.  Please keep us up-to-date with any food allergies etc your child may have.  Once again - Thank You!

Just to confirm that our PE day is Monday; so please dress your child in shorts/joggers and a T-shirt on that day.  Also, no earrings are permitted during PE, so please could you remove them beforehand.  If you forget, we will need to cover the earrings with micro pore or something similar.  The children will be learning to take their shoes and socks off independently during the sessions , therefore, if they come home with their socks on inside out and upside down then you know that they have completed this difficult skill themselves and we have celebrated this with them!

In the Foundation Phase we go outside in all sorts of weather, therefore, it would be great if you could send in a pair of wellies for your child to             use during wet weather.  Please can you clearly label them as they need to be left in school on their peg.

     Absent from school
We celebrate many things in nursery and '100% attendance' is celebrated on a weekly basis.  However,  if for some reason your child isn't able to          attend Nursery, it would be helpful if you could ring the school asap on 01633 816047 to let us know.

       Driving on site

Just a polite reminder that there should be no driving on the school grounds for the safety of all pupils.

Finally, the newest members of our Nursery have settled very well and we are having lots of fun whilst we learn!  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to talk to any of the staff.

We appreciate your continued support – Thanks!
