Welcome to Elm Class (2019-20)

Welcome to Elm Class, we hope your children have settled in well - they certainly seem to be enjoying

school with lots of smiles every day!

Mrs Smith is the class teacher and will have support from Mrs Randall who will be working with groups

and individuals throughout the week.  Mrs Probert will be teaching the children on a Tuesday morning

to cover Mrs Smith’s PPA.

Home Learning

Homework will be set every Friday, and will be expected to be handed in by the following Wednesday. Each week there will be spelling, maths and reading to do, and sometimes other work too! We want our pupils to make take as much pride in their homework as their school work.

We are working hard to win the attendance cup every week in school - and we can only do this when everyone is in! Please try and attend every day!  If for any reason your child is off, please contact the school office.

We are so proud of our new uniform and we love showing it off. Please help us by making sure that names are in all items of clothing, and that we have a full change of kit for PE.

We are really excited about this coming year, and look forward to involving you in your child’s learning as much as possible. Please contact us if there is anything we can do to help you or your child in school, we will endeavour to do our best.
